HELLO, WE’RE ICPED
Education that meets you where life is.
Short, practical courses for caring, confidence, everyday skills and life’s next chapter.
Learn for yourself, or give useful understanding to a relative, friend or helper. ICPED connects everyday situations with ideas you can try at your own pace.
Everyday life looks different from one household to another. Examples draw on varied circumstances, such as regular or uncertain work, shared family responsibilities, unreliable electricity, limited internet data, and different ways of reaching shops, schools or clinics. With low-income and mixed-resource settings in mind—including parts of Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and elsewhere—the courses help you choose ideas that fit your own resources, routines and support.
Is someone helping Mum, Dad or another older relative?
A sibling, cousin or friend may be doing their best while juggling meals, appointments and family responsibilities. Learning can help them notice unmet needs and make a clearer plan with the person they support.
Are conversations becoming harder?
Mum is getting forgetful and says she has already changed her clothes. A helper can learn to avoid an argument, offer a simple choice and check what is making the task difficult.
Would a helper benefit from safer movement practices?
Someone may be pulling Dad up by his arms because they have never had guidance. Learning can help them recognise risky shortcuts, prepare the surroundings and know when individual assessment and hands-on training are needed.
FOR THE PERSON WHO HELPS AT HOME
Five practical care courses. One thoughtful gift.
Support a willing relative, friend or helper with calmer conversations, clearer medicine records, safer home planning and better preparation for clinic visits.
Complete the course’s learning and knowledge-check requirements to receive its certificate. This sample shows the design; it is not an issued certificate or accredited qualification.
Learn in a browser on a suitable phone, tablet or computer. Lessons and knowledge checks need internet access; downloaded tools can be used offline. Current courses are in English. Additional languages will be listed when ready. Your personal ICPED learning account contains the courses you purchased or received as a gift.

Mum has worn the same clothes for two days and says she has changed. Practise a calm invitation, offer a simple choice if she agrees and check comfort, privacy and practical barriers. This sample does not diagnose dementia.
